“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’” --Matthew 19:14
We firmly believe children are not the “church of tomorrow,” but are the CHURCH OF TODAY !
Children are able to understand Jesus saves them from their sins and are capable of receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit at an early age. From their personal relationship with Jesus, children are released to be active participants in the Body of Christ.
Children’s Ministry is not baby-sitting; it is training and equipping young warriors for the Kingdom of God. Emmanuel Fellowship Church is a safe place for children, as well as adults, to discover who they are in Jesus Christ.
KIDS' CHURCH FOR SUNDAY MORNINGS
Full children's ministry is offered during all three Sunday morning services. At EFC, we are enjoying using a Kids’ Church model, which means our children ages three grade are able to head to their classes immediately upon arriving to church on Sunday morning.
Pastor Kim has assembled a team to help her coordinate worship and opening activities for the children during the worship portion of the Sunday service, after which the children break out into their regular Sunday morning classes for Bible study and learning activities.
Parents simply enter through the Kids' Space entrance and register their children for their classes. At the conclusion of the service, parents pick up their children by presenting their ID label to the teacher.
WEDNESDAY EVENING CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Faith Factory focuses on the real-life issues children face at school, home, and living in the community. The curriculum centers around one theme per semester.
Faith Factory is the time of the week our children don’t want to miss—it’s loads of fun, but is also the time that is most targeted to meeting the deep needs of their hearts. It’s building the Kingdom of God in one child’s life at a time!
Faith Factory meets at the church Wednesday evenings at 6:45 - 8:45 pm, during the Adult Lifegroup Meetings.
