“It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”   -- Ephesians 4:11-13
Equipping God’s people to do the work of ministry is one of the primary functions of the Church.  In addition to weekly ministry activities, we have organized specific times of ministry and training to enable our members to embrace their destiny in the Body of Christ.
Spiritual Freedom Weekend

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” – John 8:32

Participants of this weekend of ministry spend a Friday evening and a Saturday delving into topics such as:

  •  the power of the cross to overcome family patterns
  • breaking ungodly strongholds in your life
  • experiencing the freedom of forgiveness

Each participant is a part of a table group, led in ministry through one-on-one discussions with a table leader.  The Spiritual Freedom Weekend is a turning-point in many people’s spiritual walks, and one we encourage every member to take advantage of.

Discipleship Training

Discipleship Training runs in two tracks, one in Spring and another in Fall.  The sessions are on Sunday evenings for one hour each.  Each track delves into a specific area of study from the Word of God.

Past tracks have included themes such as “Heroes of the Faith,”  “New Testament Survey,” "Developing Your Prophetic Gifting," "Supernatural Evangelism," and "A Survey of the Book of Acts."
